“Play as the alpha of a monstrous horde, created by a twisted
garbage truck driver obsessed with horror movies, as you wreak
havoc on a town in this chaotic horde roguelike”.

Taking control of the Alpha, you direct waves of “Splicings” of your own creation to destroy the town, however this is time dependent on stability of their DNA. Once it degrades enough your creations return to their primordial liquid state ending the chaos. You gain DNA strands through killing and absorbing the townsfolk to manipulate and upgrade the “Splicings”, unlocking more abilities that can be spliced into their DNA mark up. However, the more chaos the player creates the more
resistance they will face each time.

Responsibilities

 

- Developing and creating the splicing mechanic, AI, interactions, skill tree and NPC systems that ensure engaging and enjoyable game play within Unity.

- Level design block outs, asset creation and ensuring the flow and beats engage the player in an immersive world. 

​- Environmental asset creation using a mix of Blender geometry nodes and Substance Painter.

 

- VFX and overall aesthetic creation to ensure the game matched the art direction. 

- Audio design for characters and environment.


- Balancing & adjusting the game play and pacing based on play testing and feedback.

- Project and community management.

Splice Chaos Repeat is currently under development with a future release date to be announced. A playable Vertical slice is available.
