“A cosy, whodunit platformer where you play as an origami pig trying to solve murder mystery, in an origami world”.

A Mystery Unfolded” is a 2.5D platformer built in Unreal Engine that weaves puzzle-solving and detective work into a single, immersive experience. You’ll gather clues by exploring the paper-like world, picking up objects, and engaging in branching conversations with various characters—some of whom may offer critical insights or send you chasing red herrings. Central to uncovering the story’s secrets is the notebook, which acts as a mind palace, letting you link clues and piece together the larger mystery in a Knives Out–style narrative. As you connect clues in your notebook and make sense of the information given (or withheld) by the characters around you, new story pathways open up, propelling you deeper into the intrigue and toward the ultimate answers you seek.

Responsibilities

 

- Character artist, rigging and animation.

- Incorporating narrative via blueprints and game mechanics. 

- Core mechanic creation through blueprints.

- Environmental artist, grass shader, lighting and ensuring the world followed our artistic direction.

 

- Scripting cinematic sequences, integrating animations, instantiating cameras and other game elements and interactions​.

- Pitch deck creation.

- Trailer creation using Adobe After Effects and Premiere.

A Mystery Unfolded is currently in development.
